I was walking in the streets of Lusaka the other day and i saw, not an unusual sight, the street kids fighting while others looked on...I thought to myself and said I need to capture the 'frozen moment' when all the spectators are waiting, in suspense, to see the out come of the fight. I was so inspired, I ran home to begin my new painting, to do what I do best. Its sad that my inspiration had to come from a very unbecoming source, such as a fight, but its not the fight I want to depict, but the frozen moment exhibited by the spectators...as they hang in the balance...waiting for the unkown...
I wonder what will inspire me next time??? I don't know...yet...watch this space,
